Philippe

Good ol' Philippe, the matre d’ at Traif.  What’s the human body part that people use to describe a real jerk?  Well Philippe is one of those.  A French transplant, Philippe is the exact opposite of everything a matre d’ is supposed to be.  He is unfriendly, uncaring, unmotivated, and all kinds of other un-things that would take up too much space on to describe.  For someone who doesn’t like his work very much, Philippe spends an awful lot of time at the restaurant and it seems like he might be using it as a front for his own shady side business.  All we know is, that for a French Canadian, he sure knows a lot more about sports than just hockey and curling.
